Studienprotokoll einer clusterrandomisierten, kontrollierten Rückenschmerz-Präventionsstudie bei 10- bis 12‑Jährigen

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Nicht nur bei Erwachsenen sind Rückenschmerzen ein weltweites Problem sondern auch im Kindes- und Jugendalter muss mit zunehmenden Prävalenzraten gerechnet werden. Als Risikofaktoren für den kindlichen Rückenschmerz sind u. a. Rumpfasymmetrien, zu schwere und asymmetrisch getragene Schultaschen und Bewegungsmangel zu nennen.

Ziel der Arbeit

Diese Arbeit präsentiert ein schulbasiertes, multifaktorielles, lehrergeführtes Interventionskonzept zur Primärprävention von Rückenschmerzen bei 10- bis 12-Jährigen und das entsprechende Studienprotokoll für eine clusterrandomisierte, kontrollierte Evaluation.

Material und Methoden

Das Interventionsprogramm soll über ein Schuljahr an Schülern der 5. Klasse Gymnasium getestet werden. Es beinhaltet fünf Unterrichtsstunden zum Thema „Gesunder Rücken“, drei Übungsposter für die Klassenzimmer und Übungen für den Sportunterricht, die kräftigen, dehnen und die Körperwahrnehmung schulen. Evaluiert wird das Programm zu Beginn und am Ende des Schuljahres über sportmotorische Tests, einen Verhaltenstest „Rückenolympiade“, einen Wissenstest, eine klinisch-orthopädische Untersuchung und diverse Fragebögen.

Ergebnisse und Diskussion

Das vorgestellte Interventionsprogramm inklusive Testinstrumentarium soll eine Möglichkeit aufzeigen, wie Interventionen im Schulalltag geplant und evaluiert werden können. Der Überblick über den aktuellen Forschungsstand zeigt, dass ein Bedarf an qualitativ hochwertigen Studien gegeben ist. Prävention von Rückenschmerz im Kindesalter ist ein in Deutschland bisher wenig bearbeitetes Themenfeld.
