Fibromuscular dysplasia (FMD) is a noninflammatory, nonatherosclerotic arterial disease that can cause stenosis, occlusion, dissection, and aneurysm development in systemic arterial beds [
1]. A potentially unique pathology of subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) with a higher prevalence of intracranial aneurysms has been reported in patients with FMD.
