Zusammenfassung

Die Hallux-valgus-Fehlstellung ist eine der häufigsten Deformitäten an der unteren Extremität. Die Ursache ist vielfältig, und es wurden unzählige Behandlungsmethoden in der Vergangenheit vorgestellt. Die SCARF-Osteotomie ist bei mäßiger und mittelschwerer Hallux-valgus-Deformität indiziert. Bei dieser Methode handelt es sich historisch um eine Technik aus der Zimmerei, die biomechanisch unmittelbar postoperativ belastungsstabil ist. Durch die Möglichkeit der Rotation kann auch ein erhöhter distaler Metatarsale-I-Gelenkwinkel (DMAA) gut korrigiert. Darüber hinaus hat sich die SCARF als erfolgreicher Eingriff bei Revisionen etabliert.
