Zusammenfassung

Das leichte Schädel-Hirn-Trauma (SHT) ist häufig und bezeichnet eine geschlossene Kopfverletzung, die üblicherweise mit einer vorübergehenden Veränderung der normalen Bewusstseinslage, kognitiven, emotionalen und körperlichen Symptomen einhergeht. Bei der überwiegenden Mehrzahl der Betroffenen klingen die Beschwerden und Symptome innerhalb weniger Wochen ab. Jedoch zeigt sich in den letzten Jahren immer deutlicher, dass nach einem initial als leicht eingeschätzten SHT funktionell bedeutsame Langzeitfolgen verbleiben können. Hierbei sind psychische Störungen, d. h. Beeinträchtigungen der kognitiven und emotionalen Funktionen und somatische Störungen bedeutsam. Der Artikel beleuchtet die Häufigkeit, Diagnostik, Therapie und die möglichen Mechanismen psychischer Störungen nach einem leichten SHT und bezieht auch gutachterliche Aspekte ein.
