Zusammenfassung

Mit Cariprazin steht ein neuer partieller D2-Rezeptor-Agonist zur Verfügung, der aufgrund seiner relativen Spezifität für den D2-Rezeptor spezielle Vorteile bei der Therapie schizophrener Negativsymptomatik bieten könnte und weitgehend frei von metabolischen Risiken ist. Die Markteinführung dieser Substanz ist gerade erfolgt. Hier werden die wichtigsten Daten zur Wirksamkeit und Verträglichkeit von Cariprazin zusammengefasst und die klinischen Anwendungsgebiete beschrieben.
