Zusammenfassung

Ein Leitsymptom der Schizophrenie ist die desorganisierte Sprache. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über diejenigen Bereiche von Sprache und Kommunikation, die bei Schizophrenie beteiligt sind. Es folgt eine Darstellung der bislang erprobten kognitiven und verhaltensbezogenen Ansätze zur Verbesserung der entsprechenden Defizite. Der Artikel schließt mit der Erkenntnis, dass Studien mit gut geplanten sprachtherapeutischen Interventionen notwendig sind, um im Sinne von Partizipation und Lebensqualität der Patienten eine bessere Versorgung dieser Defizite zu ermöglichen.
