Zusammenfassung

Von Dyspareunie, Vulvodynie und Vestibulodynie betroffene Frauen sind schwer beeinträchtigt. Die erforderliche ausgiebige Anamnese und Diagnostik setzen beim Gynäkologen Kenntnisse, Erfahrung, Zeit und Verständnis voraus. Eine multimodale, interdisziplinäre Therapie mit unter anderem einer Reduktion der Schmerzintensität führt zu guten Ergebnissen mit meist, aber leider nicht immer, zufriedenen Patientinnen.
