Bifider N. medianus als Zufallsbefund in der Traumatologie

Zusammenfassung

Der N. medianus ist ein wichtiger motorischer und sensibler Nerv des Arms und wird nicht selten mit diagnostischen und therapeutischen Fehleinschätzungen assoziiert. Ein bifider N. medianus als Zufallsbefund in der Traumatologie stellt bisher eine Seltenheit dar und ist meist im Rahmen elektiver Eingriffe wie bei der Karpaltunnelspaltung wiederzufinden. Der vorliegende Fall berichtet über einen Patienten mit einem bifiden N. medianus, der sich im Rahmen eines häuslichen Unfalls eine Schnittwunde in der Nähe des Karpaltunnels zugezogen hatte.
