Astigmatische Keratotomien mit dem Femtosekundenlaser

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Seit über 100 Jahren ist die Keratotomie als Therapieoption der astigmatischen Korrektur im Fokus der Ophthalmochirurgie. Die Femtosekundenlasertechnologie bietet neue Möglichkeiten der Präzision, Standardisierung und Kontrolle sowie ganz neue Optionen wie rein intrastromale Schnitte.

Methode

Die relevante Literatur wird zusammengefasst hinsichtlich Femtosekundenlaser-assistierter astigmatischer Keratotomie (FSAK) sowohl im Hinblick auf die Kombination mit Kataraktchirurgie, wo geringere astigmatische Korrektur erforderlich ist, als auch nach kornealer Chirurgie wie Keratoplastik, wo höhere astigmatische Fehler ausgeglichen werden.

Schlussfolgerung

FSAK bietet eine sichere Behandlungsoption für beide Szenarien, obwohl größere Studien mit längerer Nachverfolgung notwendig sind, um die verfügbaren Nomogramme zu verbessern.
