Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die Luxation des Schultergelenks ist gerade bei Kontakt- und Überkopfsportlern eine häufige Verletzung. Die optimale Therapie wird kontrovers diskutiert.

Ziel

Darstellung der aktuellen Therapiekonzepte nach Luxation des Schultergelenks von Sportlern.

Material und Methode

Selektive Literaturrecherche in Pubmed.

Ergebnisse

Sowohl operative als auch konservative Therapieansätze sind in der Literatur beschrieben und können in bestimmten Situationen erfolgversprechend sein. Ein allgemeingültiger Goldstandard existiert bislang nicht.

Schlussfolgerung

Zahlreiche patienten- und sportspezifische Faktoren sind bei der Therapieentscheidung zu berücksichtigen. Der Trend geht zur frühzeitigen operativen Stabilisierung bei jungen Sportlern.
