Ein frühgeborenes Mädchen (Gestationsalter 29 Schwangerschaftswochen, Geburtsgewicht 1370 g, 2 Wochen alt) entwickelt innerhalb von 1 h zunehmend Apnoen und Bradykardien. Beim Sondieren der Nahrung wird ein größerer Magenrest beobachtet. Die Pflegende berichtet, dass ihr das Kind heute „nicht gefällt“ – das Hautkolorit sei blasser, und die Spontanmotorik sei reduziert. Untersuchung einer kapillaren Fersenblutprobe: pH-Wert 7,21, Kohlendioxidpartialdruck (pCO2) 40 mm Hg, Sauerstoffpartialdruck (pO2) 62 mm Hg, Base Excess [BE] −10,8 mmol/l, Na+ 129 mmol/l, K + 5,2 mmol/l, Glucose 180 mg/dl (10 mmol/l), Hämoglobin 9,8 g/dl. …
