We read with great interest the well-written article by Dr. Chen and colleagues,
1 investigating the prognostic value of lymphovascular invasion (LVI) in patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) who underwent resection following neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy (nCRT). They concluded that LVI was an independent adverse prognostic factor for overall survival by multivariable Cox analyses, and might provide new clues for prognostic stratification.
