Hautkrankheiten sind in jedem Lebensalter häufig. Es haben 5–8 % aller Kinder in der allgemeinpädiatrischen Sprechstunde und bis zu 40 % der Patienten in pädiatrischen Notfallambulanzen (vorwiegend im Alter von 0 bis 5 Jahren) ein „Hautproblem“ [1, 2]. In der Weiterbildung zum Kinder- und Jugendarzt findet Kinderdermatologie allerdings nicht statt. Lehrstühle für Kinderdermatologie gibt es in Deutschland nicht, und nur 2 kinderdermatologische Fachabteilungen an akademischen Lehrkrankenhäusern. …
