Zusammenfassung

Bestimmte Erkrankungen und Behinderungsbilder bedürfen eines besonders hohen, spezifische Rehabiltationsaufwandes, der sich deutlich von der sonstigen orthopädisch-traumatologischen Rehabilitation abhebt. Dies betrifft die komplexen Unfallfolgen bei Polytraumata, die aufwändige Rehabilitation bei alten Patienten, sowei die Rehabilitation bei den großen Systemerkrankungen (Rheuma, Diabetes, Osteoporose). Auch die Rehabilitation bei Kindern bedarf besonderer organisatorischer und fachlicher Anforderungen. Das folgende Kapitel widmet sich diesen Rehabilitationsbereichen und deren ganzheitlicher Anforderungen.
