Im Jahr 2009 wurde von der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Schlafforschung und Schlafmedizin (DGSM) die S3-Leitlinie „Nicht erholsamer Schlaf/Schlafstörungen“ veröffentlicht [1]. Inzwischen hat schlafmedizinisches Wissen in Diagnostik und Therapie so an Umfang zugenommen, dass der Vorstand der DGSM beschlossen hat, Updates der Leitlinie in Teilkapiteln vorzunehmen. Für das Gebiet der Insomnien bei Erwachsenen wurde Prof. Dr. Dieter Riemann vom DGSM-Vorstand beauftragt, federführend zusammen mit der DGSM und weiteren Experten auf dem Gebiet ein Update auf S3-Leitlinienniveau zu erarbeiten. …

COMISA - Die komorbide Insomnie bei Schlafapnoe

Insomnie und obstruktive Schlafapnoe (OSA) treten häufiger zusammen auf, als man es basierend auf der jeweiligen Prävalenz in der Bevölkerung vermuten würde [1, 2, 3]. In der Fachliteratur nennt sich diese Komorbidität COMISA – comorbid insomnia and sleep apnea.
