Plazentationsstörungen sind potenziell lebensbedrohliche Komplikationen einer Schwangerschaft mit einer steigenden Inzidenz von 1/500–1/2500 [7]. Dies ist in erster Linie auf die angestiegenen Kaiserschnittraten der letzten Jahrzehnte zurückzuführen [34]. Klinische Manifestationen in der Nachgeburtsphase reichen von transfusionsbedürftigen, lebensbedrohlichen Blutungen bis zur Erfordernis der notfallmäßigen Hysterektomie [3]. Somit ist sowohl die Prävention von Plazentationsstörungen als auch die rechtzeitige Diagnosestellung einschließlich individuellem Behandlungsplan äußerst wichtig. …
