Summary

A 76-year-old male patient presented with a significant decrease in visual acuity 2 days after uneventful cataract surgery. Optical coherence tomography showed intraretinal edema and subfoveal fluid that disappeared over the next 3 days. Best-corrected distance visual acuity improved to 0.9 Snellen 1 month after surgery.
