Zur Rolle der Zytokine bei Patienten mit Rückenschmerz und Fibromyalgie

Frühere Studien wiesen auf einen möglichen Zusammenhang zwischen Zytokinen und chronischen Schmerzen hin [1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16]; auch eine Korrelation zwischen TNF-α und Schmerzintensität wurde dargestellt [6]. Wir berichten über 3 kürzlich von unserer Arbeitsgruppe publizierte Arbeiten [13, 14, 15], die longitudinal den möglichen Zusammenhang von Zytokinkonzentrationen mit dem Verlauf der Schmerzintensität bei Patienten mit chronischen Rückenschmerzen (CR) und Fibromyalgiesyndrom (FMS) untersuchten. …
