Stellenwert der allogenen Stammzelltransplantation bei AML

Auszug

Trotz Verbesserung der Ergebnisse nach alloSCT über die letzten Jahre bleibt die Toxizität der Fremdspendertransplantation höher als die nach Chemotherapie bzw. autologer SCT. Der Graft-versus-Leukämie-Effekt führt allerdings auch zu einer deutlich geringeren Rezidivrate, insbesondere bei Hochrisiko-Patient*innen. Verbessert durch eine molekulare Therapiesteuerung stellt die alloSCT eine kurative Behandlungsoption für Hochrisikoerkrankte dar, die durch Einsatz von neuen Medikamenten weiter verfeinert werden kann.
