Fehlerhafte Befunde bei Brustkrebs-Patientinnen: Uni-Medizin Göttingen überprüft Untersuchungsergebnisse

Eine Ärztin des Klinikums Bremen-Mitte soll in 34 Fällen Befunde von Gewebeproben fehlerhaft interpretiert haben. Viele Patientinnen erhielten deshalb eine unnötige Antikörper- oder Chemotherapie.

Mit KI gegen Mukositis und Polyneuropathie

Welche Personen mit Stadium-III-Kolonkarzinom von der zusätzlichen Therapie mit Celecoxib prognostisch profitieren, lässt sich möglicherweise aus der Untersuchung auf zirkulierende Tumor-DNA (ctDNA) ableiten. Dafür spricht zumindest eine Post-hoc-Analyse der Phase-3-Studie CALGB/SWOG 80702.
