Abstract
Three patients were seen for pain and snapping over their medial knee during active knee flexion and extension. Physical examination revealed an audible and visible subluxation that was localized to the posteromedial aspect of their symptomatic knee. One patient underwent a semitendinosus tendon harvest, and two patients underwent a release of their semitendinosus and gracilis tendons. All three patients had normal return of function without pain or further snapping or catching events at a minimum of 2 years postoperatively.
