Für die Behandlung einer Aortenstenose ziehen die aktuellen europäischen Leitlinien eine Grenze bei 75 Jahren: ältere Patienten sollen eine TAVI und jüngere einen chirurgischen Aortenklappenersatz (AKE) erhalten. 5-Jahres-Daten aus klinischen Studien bestätigen diese Vorgabe aufgrund eines Trends zu besserem Überleben nach AKE. …
