The Territories of Science and Religion addresses the seemingly long-standing conflict between science and religion. Rather than offer an argument for or against one side, Harrison argues that the concepts of science and religion are recent developments, only around three hundred years old, and these two concepts are what limit discourse on how scientific pursuit relates to religious life. Modern discourse addressing science and religion often places the two in an antiquated opposition to each other, a presumption that this book seeks to correct. …
