7. Therapiemonitoring und Rezidivstaging

Zusammenfassung

In Abhängigkeit vom gewählten Therapiekonzept werden unterschiedliche Anforderungen an die Rezidivdiagnostik und das Therapiemonitoring des Prostatakarzinoms gestellt. Die mpMRT gewinnt dabei insbesondere in der Lokalrezidivdiagnostik nach radikaler Prostatektomie oder Strahlentherapie sowie im Rahmen der aktiven Überwachung niedriggradiger Prostatakarzinome zunehmend an Bedeutung. Einen weiteren wesentlichen Bestandteil der Rezidivdiagnostik stellt neben der Skelettszintigraphie insbesondere das PET-CT dar. Durch den Einsatz innovativer PET-Tracer (z. B. 68Ga-PSMA) kann dabei die Detektionsrate von Rezidiven auch bei niedrigen PSA-Werten verbessert werden. Inwiefern der Einsatz von hochmodernen MR/PET-Systemen die Rezidivdiagnostik weiter verbessert kann bleibt abzuwarten.
