Thromboembolieprophylaxe in der Orthopädie – Update zur aktuellen S3-Leitlinie Stand 2015

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Die Thromboembolie stellt eine der wichtigsten Komplikationen bei vielen orthopädischen Behandlungen und Erkrankungen dar. Deshalb kommt der Prävention eine entscheidende Bedeutung zu.

Aktueller Stand

Die vorhandene, 2015 überarbeitet S3-Leitlinie geht dabei sehr speziell auf die verschiedenen Krankheitsbilder und Behandlungen ein, und gibt somit eine sehr gute Handlungsempfehlung. Die Problematik der Thromboseprophylaxe in der Orthopädie ist auch 2018 allgegenwärtig, was sich durch eine große Zahl an Publikationen zu dem Thema zeigt. Diese neuen Erkenntnisse werden in die weiteren Anpassungen der Leitlinie einfließen können und diese somit an den aktuellen Stand der Erkenntnisse anpassen. Abschließend soll insbesondere der für die tägliche Praxis wichtige Fakt genannt werden, dass insbesondere bei Verlegung und Entlassung von Patienten bei weiterhin erforderlicher Prophylaxe diese dem weiterbehandelnden Kollegen mitgeteilt werden, um eine lückenlose Prophylaxe zu gewährleisten.
