Neben psychopharmakologischen und psychotherapeutischen Behandlungsoptionen gewinnen Neurostimulationsverfahren in der Therapie psychischer Erkrankungen immer mehr an Bedeutung [1]. Die Behandlung basiert auf den Grundlagen neurobiologischer Erkenntnisse und ermöglicht die gezielte Stimulation neuronaler Strukturen, die an der Entstehung der jeweiligen Erkrankung beteiligt sind. In der Therapie affektiver Störungen wird insbesondere der repetitiven transkraniellen Magnetstimulation eine immer größere Bedeutung beigemessen [2, 3].
