It is well-known that tungsten coils are biodegraded in vivo. Previous articles reported cases with follow-ups of not more than 36 months. We describe a case of missing tungsten coils and recurrent subarachnoid haemorrhage 12 years after endovascular embolisation. The relevant literature is reviewed. …
