Zusammenfassung

In Kap. 2 wird die gesunde kindliche Entwicklung in zahlreichen Bereichen skizziert, die wesentlich für die Förderung von Kindern mit Autismus-Spektrum-Störungen im Vorschulalter sind. Ein besonderer Wert wird auf das Verständnis und die Darstellung der zeitlichen Abhängigkeit unterschiedlicher Entwicklungsbereiche gelegt. Aus dieser Darstellung von wesentlichen Bereichen der Entwicklung im Kleinkind- und Vorschulalter wird deutlich, dass Entwicklung ein sehr komplexes Geschehen ist und zahlreiche Prozesse parallel erfolgen. Viele dieser komplexen Relationen und der sich gegenseitig beeinflussenden sowie auch wechselseitig verstärkenden Kompetenzen und Entwicklungswege sind noch nicht vollständig erforscht, sodass dieses Gebiet weiterhin durch neue Studienergebnisse ergänzt werden wird.
