Überwachung der Sedierung in der Endoskopie mit künstlicher Intelligenz

Zusammenfassung

Die Propofolsedierung während endoskopischer Eingriffe ist ein etabliertes und weitgehend sicheres Verfahren. Insbesondere bei langen Untersuchungen, Notfällen und Komorbiditäten steigt das Risiko für Sedierungszwischenfälle jedoch sprunghaft an. Ein objektives Verfahren, um die Sedierungstiefe zu überwachen, steht bisher nicht zur Verfügung. Für die Überwachung der Narkose entwickelte Monitore basieren auf einer automatisierten Auswertung des Elektroenzephalogramms (EEG). Bisherige Untersuchungen zum Einsatz dieser Narkosemonitore für die Endoskopiesedierung konnten nicht überzeugen. Der vorliegende Artikel befasst sich mit der EEG-basierten Erfassung der Sedierungstiefe durch klassische Methoden und Ansätze künstlicher Intelligenz mit neuronalen Netzen. Dabei werden die Besonderheiten der Auswertung von Zeitreihen mit speziellen Netzwerkarchitekturen beleuchtet.
