A 66-year-old man was found unconscious in his home. He was transported to hospital, where he died about 2 h after being found. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, including defibrillation, was applied for approximately 45 min. The man had been treated for hypertension for 10 years and had been diagnosed with coronary artery disease. During the police investigation of the death scene no suicide notes or blood traces were found. An autopsy was performed the following day. …
