Zusammenfassung

In der Trias der interventionellen Steintherapie stellt die Ureterorenoskopie (URS) neben der extrakorporalen Stoßwellenlithotripsie (ESWL) und der perkutanen Steintherapie ein wesentliches Segment dar, das in den vergangenen Jahren deutlich an Akzeptanz zugenommen hat. Zudem hat die URS in Diagnostik und Therapie von Tumoren des oberen Harntrakts einen besonderen Stellenwert. In diesem Artikel werden die Indikation, die Operationstechniken und das Komplikationsmanagement beschrieben.
