Validierte Lebensqualitätsmessinstrumente zur Anwendung bei Patienten mit chronischer Rhinosinusitis

Zusammenfassung

Die chronische Rhinosinusitis (CRS) hat erhebliche medizinische und ökonomische Bedeutung. Daher ist die Bewertung objektiver und subjektiver Therapieergebnisses von großem Interesse. Validierte Lebensqualitätsmessinstrumente sind ein wichtiges Mittel, um das subjektive Ergebnis der Patienten zu bewerten. Bei den allgemeinen Messinstrumenten werden am häufigsten der SF-36 in prospektiven und der „Glasgow Benefit Inventory“ (GBI) in retrospektiven Studien eingesetzt. Für den SF-36 stehen auch für die deutsche Version Normdaten und Vergleichsdaten für andere Krankheitsbilder zur Verfügung. Krankheitsspezifische Messinstrumente zur Anwendung bei der CRS werden seit 15 Jahren entwickelt, 11 davon werden in dieser Übersicht vorgestellt und bewertet. Nur 4 erfragen die 4 Hauptsymptome der CRS und sind gleichzeitig vollständig validiert. Die am häufigsten eingesetzten „Sino-Nasal Outcome Test“ (SNOT-20) und „Chronic Sinusitis Survey“ (CSS) erfassen die Symptomatik der CRS nicht vollständig. Das einzige validierte deutsche Messinstrument (SNOT-20 GAV) aber erfasst alle relevanten Symptome. Zusätzlich gibt es dafür eine Bewertungsskala, die die Lebensqualitätsbewertung für den einzelnen Patienten ermöglicht.
