Zusammenfassung

Die Radiofrequenz-Katheterablation stellt eine erfolgreiche Therapieoption für Patienten mit narbenabhängigen ventrikulären Tachykardien (VT) im Rahmen einer ischämischen Kardiomyopathie dar. Der Nutzen der Katheterablation ventrikulärer Tachykardien konnte in zahlreichen klinischen Studien belegt werden, und das Verfahren zählt zur klinischen Routine vieler elektrophysiologischer Katheterlabore. Dieser Artikel stellt eine praxisnahe Anleitung zur Durchführung einer Ablation von ischämischen ventrikulären Tachykardien zur Verfügung. Die Autoren beschreiben dazu sowohl konventionelle als auch substratorientierte Mapping- und Ablationsstrategien sowie Ansätze zur Integration von Bildgebungsmodalitäten. Diese Arbeit setzt eine Reihe von Artikeln fort, die für eine Weiterbildung im Bereich der speziellen Rhythmologie erstellt worden sind.
