Zusammenfassung

Generalisierte tonisch-klonische Anfälle kommen in den ersten 5 Lebensjahren bei verschiedenen epileptischen Syndromen vor. Hierbei handelt es sich um fokale und multifokale Epilepsien sowie idiopathische generalisierte Epilepsien. Zur letzteren Gruppe gehören die schwere myoklonische Epilepsie, die myoklonisch-astatische Epilepsie und die frühkindliche Absence-Epilepsie.
