Dem Zeitgeist entsprechend ist die Sporttraumatologie einem fortwährenden Wandel unterworfen und stetig werden bewährte Verfahren optimiert oder durch neue Möglichkeiten ergänzt. Mehr denn je schweift der Blick von der Betrachtung der vorderen Kreuzbandruptur als rein intraartikuläre Pathologie ab und vermehrt rücken periphere Instabilitäten und die knöcherne Geometrie in den Fokus eines ganzheitlichen Verständnisses des Kniegelenkes, sodass neben der rein ligamentären Pathologie zunehmend dem knöchernen Alignment und der Peripherie Beachtung geschenkt werden. …
