Zusammenfassung

Auch wenn das Bild auf deutschen Straßen heutzutage eher von Kindern und Jugendlichen mit Übergewicht dominiert wird, haben Pädiater jeden Tag mit einzelnen Kindern zu tun, die mangelernährt sind. Nicht immer kann man Defizienzen klinisch erkennen, vor allem weil Mikronährstoffmangel auch bei normalgewichtigen Kindern vorkommt.
