Zusammenfassung

In der WHO-Klassifikation 2014 werden Vorläuferläsionen des Plattenepithelkarzinoms in „low-grade“ bzw. „high-grade“ intraepitheliale Läsionen unterteilt, wobei LSIL die CIN1, HSIL CIN2 und CIN3 umfasst. Als Vorläuferläsion des Adenokarzinoms gilt nur das Adenocarcinoma in situ (AIS) und als dessen Variante die stratifizierte muzinproduzierende intraepitheliale Läsion (SMILE). Adenokarzinome und Plattenepithelkarzinome können selten mit einem schlecht differenzierten neuroendokrinen Karzinom gemischt sein. Die meisten Adenokarzinome sind „low-grade“ und vom endozervikalen Typ. Bei ausgeprägter Verschleimung wird der Begriff des muzinösen Karzinoms verwendet. Praktisch alle invasiven Plattenepithelkarzinome, der Großteil der Adenokarzinome und viele seltene Karzinomtypen sind HPV-assoziiert. Beim endozervikalen Adenokarzinom sollte der Wachstumstyp (nach Silva) mit angeführt werden. Neuroendokrine Tumoren sind selten und werden in „low-grade“ und „high-grade“ unterteilt, wobei der Begriff Karzinoid noch verwendet wird.
