20. Körperliches Training bei Patienten mit Aortenaneurysma

Zusammenfassung

Das Aortenaneurysma (AA) ist eine lokal begrenzte Gefäßdilatation aufgrund einer angeborenen oder erworbenen Gefäßwandveränderung und ist mit verschiedenen kardiovaskulären Risikofaktoren assoziiert. Die Erkrankung verläuft häufig asymptomatisch und stellt oft einen Zufallsbefund im Rahmen der Diagnostik anderer abdominaler/thorakaler Erkrankungen dar. Unbehandelt kann das AA mit akuten lebensbedrohlichen Komplikationen wie einer Dissektion oder Gefäßruptur einhergehen. Obwohl eine gute körperliche Fitness zu den wichtigsten prognostischen Parametern für Patienten mit kardiovaskulären Erkrankungen gehört und körperliches Training in deren Prävention und Therapie sehr effektiv angewandt wird, diskutiert man dies bei Patienten mit AA kontrovers; Bedenken wegen möglicher trainings-assoziierter Komplikationen wurden geäußert. In diesem Kapitel wird deshalb spezifisch die Sicherheit und Effizienz von körperlicher Aktivität und Training bei Patienten mit AA erörtert, wobei auch auf die funktionelle Analyse und individuelle Trainingsempfehlung eingegangen wird.
