Zusammenfassung

Seit mehr als 40 Jahren wird Speichel für Hormonanalysen verwendet. Speichel ist heute weithin als nichtinvasive, einfach durchzuführende Methode der Steroidhormonbestimmung akzeptiert. Speichel- und Serumhormonanalyse unterscheiden sich jedoch in wesentlichen Punkten, was es zu beachten gilt.
