Chlamydienerkrankungen des Auges – eine kurze Übersicht

Zusammenfassung

In dieser kurzen Übersicht werden neuere Daten zur Taxonomie von Chlamydien und zur Assoziation mit verschiedenen okulären Erkrankungen gezeigt. Die Klinik und Diagnostik der okulären Infektion mit Chlamydia trachomatis wird dargestellt. Die aktuelle Therapie besteht in der oralen Gabe von Azithromycin.
