Das diabetische Fußsyndrom (DFS) ist eine Diabeteskomplikation, die mit einer erhöhten Mortalität und Morbidität einhergeht. Die sensomotorische diabetische Neuropathie (SDNP) spielt eine Hauptrolle in der Entstehung des DFS und sollte deshalb konsequent diagnostiziert und behandelt werden.
