Zusammenfassung

Der vorzeitige Samenerguss (Ejaculatio praecox, EP) stellt mit einer Prävalenz von 5–30 % die häufigste sexuelle Funktionsstörung des Mannes aller Altersgruppen dar. Sie ist durch den ungewollten, vorzeitigen Samenerguss vor oder nach geringer sexueller Stimulation definiert, der weder durch sexuelle Enthaltsamkeit, neue Partner, neue sexuelle Situationen, Alkohol, Drogen oder Medikamente ausgelöst wurde und zu Störungen in der sexuellen Beziehung sowie einem Krankheitsgefühl führt. Laut der Definition der Internationalen Gesellschaft für Sexualmedizin (ISSM) unterscheidet man eine lebenslange, angeborene, primäre EP von einer erworbenen, sekundären EP.
