Enterale und/oder parenterale künstliche Ernährung des Intensivpatienten

Ein Algorithmus als mögliche Entscheidungsgrundlage

Zusammenfassung

Für die künstliche Ernährung des Intensivpatienten wird in den ersten 7 Tagen unter Einbeziehung aktueller Daten und Kontroversen eine frühzeitige enterale, möglichst normokalorische Energiezufuhr (Ziel: 25 kcal/kgKG/Tag) empfohlen. Nur selektiv sollte bei primär mangelernährten Patienten und solchen mit hohem Risiko für einen längeren und komplizierten Intensivaufenthalt im Fall einer unzureichenden enteralen Toleranz bereits ab Tag 3–5 mit der parenteralen Supplementierung begonnen werden. Dies kann in einem Algorithmus zusammengefasst werden.
