Welche Therapie ist evidenzbasiert wirksam?

Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund

Übelkeit und Erbrechen sind häufig beobachtete Symptome in der (Früh-)Schwangerschaft, und Studien belegen, dass nichtpharmakologische Therapieansätze für Hyperemesis regelmäßig von Schwangeren nachgefragt und von Hebammen wie Ärzten empfohlen werden.

Ziel

Ziel des Beitrags war es, mögliche alternative bzw. komplementäre Behandlungen zusammenzufassen, auch unter dem Aspekt der Überprüfung nach den Kriterien der evidenzbasierten Medizin. Ferner sollten, soweit bei der derzeitigen Datenlage möglich, konkrete Empfehlungen gegeben werden.

Fazit

Nach Ausschluss schwerwiegender Ursachen sollte prinzipiell versucht werden, alternative Therapieoptionen einzusetzen, z. B. Akupunktur/-pressur, Kräuter oder Nahrungsergänzungsmittel.

Müssen sich Schwangere einer Krebstherapie unterziehen, rufen Immuncheckpointinhibitoren offenbar nicht mehr unerwünschte Wirkungen hervor als andere Mittel gegen Krebs.

Weniger postpartale Depressionen nach Esketamin-Einmalgabe

Bislang gibt es kein Medikament zur Prävention von Wochenbettdepressionen. Das Injektionsanästhetikum Esketamin könnte womöglich diese Lücke füllen.
