Tumoren des endokrinen Pankreas

Zusammenfassung

Die neuroendokrinen Tumoren des Pankreas sind insgesamt selten, gehören jedoch zu den häufigsten endokrinen Neoplasien des Abdominalraumes. In den meisten Fällen zeigen sie eine charakteristische Makro- und Histopathologie. Die WHO-Klassifikation unterscheidet auf der Basis von morphologischen, immunhistologischen und biologischen Kriterien zwischen gutdifferenzierten Tumoren mit benignem Verhalten oder fraglicher Dignität, gutdifferenzierten (niedrig malignen) Karzinomen und niedrigdifferenzierten (hoch malignen) Karzinomen. Die funktionellen Tumorentitäten, die der Klassifikation zugrunde liegen, werden kurz dargestellt und diskutiert.
