Adipozytokine als treibende Faktoren bei rheumatoider Arthritis

Die rheumatoide Arthritis (RA) ist eine chronisch entzündliche Erkrankung, die durch eine fortschreitende Gelenkzerstörung gekennzeichnet ist. Bekannte Faktoren in der Pathophysiologie der RA sind immunologisch aktive Zellen (z. B. T-/B-Zellen, Makrophagen), ortsständige Zellen wie synoviale Fibroblasten (SF) und deren Signalmoleküle. Das Fettgewebe ist ein allgegenwärtiges Gewebe, das als Strukturkomponente vieler Organe inklusive der Haut, des Darms und des Gelenks dient. Neben der zentralen Funktion des Fettgewebes im Energiehaushalt dient es als Polster, um Zwischenräume oder Übergänge zwischen Geweben auszufüllen. Adipozyten des Fettgewebes sezernieren hochaktive bioaktive Substanzen, sog. Adipokine wie Resistin, Leptin, Adiponektin und Visfatin [1, 9, 13, 16, 21]. Neuerdings gibt es zunehmend Hinweise darauf, dass der dominante Zelltyp des Fettgewebes, der Adipozyt, proentzündliche Faktoren wie TNF-α, IL-6, Faktoren des Komplementsystems, Wachstumsfaktoren und Adhäsionsmoleküle bildet [4, 7, 8, 18, 24, 33, 51]. …
