Osteosynthese nach periprothetischen Frakturen am Kniegelenk

Zusammenfassung

Die Relevanz periprothetischer Frakturen rund um das Kniegelenk nimmt stetig zu. Diese Verletzungen können eine echte Herausforderung sein, da die Patienten oft eine nur eingeschränkte Compliance aufweisen, die Knochenqualität oft schlecht ist und damit sowohl die Heilungspotenz reduziert als auch Verankerungsmöglichkeiten für Schrauben fehlen können. Darüber hinaus ist die Knochendurchblutung durch potenzielle intramedulläre Schäfte reduziert. Daher erfordern diese Frakturen ganz besondere Kenntnisse und Herangehensweisen, die in diesem Artikel systematisch aufgearbeitet werden – beginnend mit der korrekten Diagnostik über neueste Entwicklungen im Bereich der Osteosynthesetechniken. Es werden Trends der minimal-invasiven Operationstechnik dargestellt sowie Chancen und Limitationen aufgezeigt.
