Zusammenfassung

Regionalanästhesie im Kindes- und Jugendalter muss die anatomischen und physiologischen Besonderheiten und Entwicklungen gerade des frühen Kindesalters berücksichtigen – bei der technischen Durchführung ebenso wie bei Auswahl und Dosierung von Medikamenten. Es werden Nervenblockaden der unteren und oberen Extremität, Blockaden am Rumpf sowie zentrale Nervenblockaden vorgestellt. Sicherheitsaspekte und Komplikationen werden ausführlich besprochen.
