Th22-Zellen bei allergischen Erkrankungen

Zusammenfassung

Das Feld der T-Zell-Immunologie ist unübersichtlich geworden. Immer neue Populationen von Helferzellen, in letzter Zeit auch zunehmend Lymphozyten der angeborenen Immunität, werden beschrieben. Wir beginnen erst zu verstehen, welche spezifischen Funktionen von welchen Subtypen wahrgenommen werden. Th22-Zellen sind terminal differenzierte und sehr spezialisierte T-Helferzellen, die sich durch die Sekretion ihres Leitzytokins IL-22 bei fehlender Sekretion von IL-4, IL-17 und IFN-γ auszeichnen.
Ihre Hauptfunktion ist die Protektion, aber auch die Modulation von entzündetem oder geschädigtem Gewebe, insbesondere der Haut und der Lunge. Dieser Übersichtsartikel fasst unsere bisherigen Erkenntnisse zum Phänotyp der Th22-Zellen sowie deren Rolle bei allergischen Erkrankungen zusammen.
