Zusammenfassung

In der operativen Therapie der Belastungsharninkontinenz stehen zahlreiche Verfahren für Frauen und Männer zur Verfügung. Die Implantation suburethraler Bänder hat sich neben den klassischen Behandlungsmethoden (Kolposuspension, artifizieller Harnröhrensphinkter) als minimal-invasiver Standard etabliert. Das Vorliegen von Komorbiditäten oder einer Rezidivharninkontinenz erfordert ein individuell adaptiertes Therapieregime, wobei die Entscheidung, welcher Maßnahme man sich bedient, gemeinsam mit dem Patienten in Abhängigkeit des Leidensdrucks getroffen werden sollte. Eine genaue Aufklärung über mögliche konservative und operative Alternativen und ihre Erfolgsaussichten ist essenziell.
